Frequently Asked Questions

I don't live in Pennsylvania, can we still do therapy?

At this time, we are solely licensed in Pennsylvania, which means that you must be a resident of Pennsylvania to do teletherapy with us. We are working on getting licensed in other states, and we will keep you updated on this site.

What's next in this process?

We do not accept health insurance. However, we are able to provide a superbill for out-of-network benefits, if your plan offers reimbursement. This means you pay for sessions upfront, and your insurance reimburses you based on your coverage (up to 80% which means you may only be responsible for $32/session. We encourage you to check with your provider to understand your out-of-network mental health benefits.

How does this teletherapy work?

So glad you asked! Please schedule a free 15 min. phone consultation and complete the questionnaire. Then we will call you at your scheduled time to briefly discuss your concerns, ask questions, and learn more about our process and approach. If you are ready to schedule your first therapy appointment at that time, we will do so and send you a link to our Theralink Portal!

Do you see kids? Who is not a good fit?

We provide teletherapy to adolescents 14 years old or old and adults, as these age groups are able to individually consent to mental health care. We do not provide therapy to anyone younger than 14 years old.

While we confident in our specialties, we are also aware of our limitations. Here is a list of services we do not provide: mental health evaluations, custody recommendations, Autism-specific behavioral therapy, active psychosis care and 24/7 crisis intervention.
